preserving symbols during DOORS import
One answer
You can take advantage of the “Paragraph Style” attribute populated during the initial export to make the resulting Word document look similar to the original. However, be aware that in this method, numbering for items in a list is not preserved. Line numbering is preserved, but when exporting back to Word, the list Word styles become “normal,” losing formatting and indenting. This approach allows you to keep formatting and indentation in DOORS and export the database back to Word with a similar appearance.
