lines of code associated to WIs

Is is possible to get the lines of code in each of the change sets associated with a work item? I'd like to use the # lines of code as an approximation of the actual time to implement a work item. Ideally I'd like this to be available in a WI query or through the Insight integration for reporting. Does anyone know if this is available today?

It's possible from the java apis to get this information, but it's not available out of the box.

I'm not sure what heuristics you'd use to map LOC to time though?

Cheers,
Jean-Michel
