How to provide bubble help
There are certain fields which display bubble help automatically - specific Rational created fields.
But I'm not finding the way to provide bubble help for my custom fields. Is this supported? If yes, how? If no, is there any plan for this or can I enter an enhancement? Thanks! |

Can you give an example of the kind of bubble help you're talking about? Which editor, which field? |

It depends a bit on the 'bubble' help needed. In RTC 3.0 there is the possibility to set a 'Description' on every presentation. Most fields in the work item editor will then show this as tooltip text. However this is not yet implemented in the web/ui, but is planned for 3.0 too. Some fields with richer values (e.g. Owned by where the value is a contributor) show a more advances tooltip. This should also work e.g. for custom contributor attributes. Based on enhancement work item 83885, it seems some feature is available in 3.0 M1. I'm using 3.0 RC0 (beta 2), and I'm not being able to see this feature working, so I assume I should be missing something. Can anybody guide me on this?
