ELM Password restriction

Leonardo Benevides (266628) | asked Feb 07 '23, 12:42 p.m.

 Hi people!

I would like to know if is there any restriction in use the letter ç (this is in PT-BR lang) in the ELM password.

My customer is trying to setup a password like e.g.: 1qazç .. Is that allowed to use "ç" ? Is there any documentation about this restriction?

Thanks!!

Dependent on how the server is set up an LDAP or similar system would manage the passwords this system might limit the characters to be used. I recently ran into a system that restricted the symbol characters. An error message should tell you in case.

I desperately try to avoid characters in passwords that are language dependent or move around on keywords if you switch the language.
