DNG RM 6.0.6/7.0.2 Artifact formats

 Hello experts

I am trying to understand the artifact formats and the relations between them in DNG 6.0.6/7.0.2 RM.

When i am trying to create a Artifact type i see 4 Artifact formats as listed below
    - Collection
    - Module
    - Text
    - Diagram

Question 1:
Are there any more of the artifact types for rm module of DNG, if yes, where can i see the complete list?

Question 2:
When i look at rdf types of resources which were created from 'Module', i see both Module and Collection. From the looks of it Module seems to be inheriting from Collection.
Is there a way to find out how these artifact formats are related?

Question 3:
Are these artifact types part of the process template?

Thanks

I'll give these questions a try:

Question 1:

DNG supports a fixed set of artifact formats which are used to specify the format and editing capabilities of artifact types and artifacts. You can create custom artifact types that use these fixed formats.

Question 2:
When i look at rdf types of resources which were created from 'Module', i see both Module and Collection. From the looks of it Module seems to be inheriting from Collection.
Is there a way to find out how these artifact formats are related?

Resource and Resource Collection artifact types (i.e., RDF Classes) are defined by the OSLC RM specifications. Module is an artifact type supported by DNG that provides a hierarchical/table view that can be used to organize references to requirements in multiple different ways. You can use either, whichever meets your needs.

Question 3:
Are these artifact types part of the process template?
Yes, process templates can define artifact types, each having an artifact format. These are applied when the project are is created and configured with the process template. You can create your own custom requirement artifact types, using  the available artifact type formats.
