ETM - 7.0.2, Test Execution Record Categories Template Dependent?

 Does anyone know of a way that you can make Test Case Execution Record Categories be dependent on the Test Case Template used to create it?  For example, I have Hardware tests that require capture of specific make/ model/ serial number info that is not relevant to Software tests.  Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this?

Joe,

It is not possible. The template for the test case is only defining the sections of the test case or test plan or suite or script. It does not have any impact on the attributes which are defined per test artifact type per project.

Summing up, you are not able to create such a dependency.
