Apache Portable Runtime and Tomcat

Jose Miguel Ordax Cassa (2.4k4126100) | asked Dec 03 '09, 2:38 a.m.
I noticed when starting RTC Server with Tomcat a warning message: "The
Apache Tomcat Native library which allows optimal performance in
production environments was not found on the java.library.path"

Investigating little bit on the web I found this Apache Tomcat URL:
http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.5-doc/apr.html where it is explained.

My question is, have you seen an interesting performance improvement
using it in your RTC installations? In which scenarios?

Thanks in advance,

Chemi.

Stumled over your posting while searching for APR, and just wanted to link this with the other posting: https://jazz.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7885
