CQ Bridge Cross-server communication is not working

We established the bridge between RTC and CQ and we are able to link a new/existing CQ record to a defect created in RTC. However from CQ record (Links tab) we cannot link a RTC new/existing defect.  We get a popup saying that and error occurred while fetching services for the project in RTC.

Cross-Server Communication on CQ side is not showing RTC friend listed. We got an error saying that the Root Services URI is not correct or its certificate is not trusted.

As a conclusion the RTC CQ Bridge is working only one way and cannot figure out why link cannot be established from the other side.

How about trying to solve the error you mention?

We got an error saying that the Root Services URI is not correct or its certificate is not trusted.

This would be great Ralph! How we proceed?

I have not set up that integration in 10 years. I can only hint to read the documentation, check if the Root Services URI is correct e.g. use a browser and try to open that URI. If it is really the rootservices URI it would look like https://elm.example.com:9443/ccm/rootservices and if you open it in the browser you would download a rootservices.rdf document.
Also make sure your server certificates are valid, you would see that in the browser.
Otherwise approach support.

The Root Services URI is correct, it opens the .rdf document.

It might be the certificate as the VM I'm working on is a clone of the real one used in production.

Not sure though, any idea?

Based on what information?
