Hello,

I am trying to register more applications onto my project to work with the global configuration and use the links, Change Request and report from it.

I have this error that appears on the step 5 of the application Custom Setup.

The server could not access the discovery URL for the application. If you have configured a virtual host for an application, the virtual hostname must be used in the URL for the application.ID CRJAZ2081E

Attached the picture of the error.

Thanks

Can you access the link using a browser?

Note that register applications is a part of the server setup. So you might want to communicate clearer what you are doing.

Hello Ralph,

Thanks for the fast answer. Really appreciate it.

When I try to reach the link, I go to IBM page that is empty.

I have just arrived on this project. The needs are to have a connection between system/subsystem and to manage requirements during the project life (with attributes and CR). And then use DOORS to create specifications documents (report).

Actually, the server is connected with some applications (CCM, QM, RM, DCC, RS). As shown on the image attached, I would like to have the possibility to connect my CR directly to a requirement. What I have found is that I need to connect the GC application, and when I checked how the server setup was done I found those errors that I would love to correct and have a full access to the applications.

If you need any more information, do not hesitate to ask.

There is not enough information for me, what you are actually performing, between which products and what projects. Unless you can provide more comprehensive  information in the question what you are trying to do and how and where, I don't see anyone can answer. E.g. you mention DOORS, what does that play as a role in the process?

Dorian Cadart commented Nov 18 '21, 6:46 p.m.

I am using JAZZ Server to have a full access onto DOORS NG, to handle requirement onto my project called iReX.

I have a system with 3 subsystems. Links are created between those systems.
And when I create a Change Request (created via Work Item, with the "affects requirement" option) and the requirement, I don't see a link (Affected by)

On the Quality Management application I have an information "To access artifacts in other app, you must work in a global configuration context". But as shown in the screenshot, the GC is not installed.

When I am going through the server setup, I am missing GC, LQE, LDX and RELM.

I want to add them to have a full access to the tool and be able to have a strong management of requirements in my DOORS project.
But this error appears : ID CRJAZZ2081E, when I try to register the application on step5 of the custom setup

I hope you have more information and can go through it

This is not support, this is a forum. Subsystem is not a concept that provides information, unfortunately.

To be able to use integrations between the applications (EWM/ccm, DNG/rm, ETM/rqm) you need to set up the friends and consumer relationships. This is done in the setup step that registers the applications to the JTS. (Which requires to discover the root services documents).

If you set up a system with multiple nodes on different servers without a common reverse proxy, you would have to provide the server URIs here. with a common proxy the URI's would look similar to https://host:port/ccm, https://host:port/rm etc.

Once that step is successfully implemented, you can add other project areas and tools to the consumers/providers list to allow linking across those project areas.

Otherwise I fail to understand what you are asking for.

When I try to add friends with what you said : https://host:port/gc

An error appears : "An error occurred while requesting the root services document from server "https://host:port/gc". Please check the URL and try again."

If I try to add applications from https://host:port/jts/customSetup#/steps/5
I have this error : "The data at URL "https://host:port/gc/scr" does not appear be a SCR document. Please ensure that the URL is correct and try again. "

With 4 Application Instance involved : LQE, RELM, GC and LDX

I want to register those 4 applications but it seems the SCR document for those are not created.

Use a browser, enter the public URI's for these applications in the browser e.g. open

https://host:port/gc/rootservices - should download a rootservices.rdf file
https://host:port/gc/scr - should download a file scr.rdf

If this document can not be loaded, you have the wrong hostname, port, or the GC application is not installed or incorrectly installed.

Open
https://host:port/lqe/rootservices - should download a rootservices.rdf file

Make sure you can access lqe/rootservices, ldx/rootservices same for RELM.
If the rootservices document is not available the location is wrong or the setup has failed.

Open a case with support.
