How do I get Java scripts to execute in RM DNG?

Bernard Adamson (21) | asked Nov 08 '21, 1:19 p.m.

I am just starting out in in DNG RM and am trying to calculate a new attribute value based on values of existing attributes.  But very simply, how do I get a Java script to run in DNG?

I am by far not a DNG API expert. If you refer to capabilities such as the EWM/RTC attribute customization, then I believe that DNG does not have such a mechanism.

The Client API https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RMExtensionsMain can be used from the dashboard mini. Maybe there is something for your purpose.

On the Client API link Ralph gives, in the extensions examples for the version you're using, the ASIL Guidance extension has an example of updating an attribute with the result of a calculation.
