Sharing an updated link : https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/engineering-lifecycle-management-suite/lifecycle-management/7.2.0?topic=server-enabling-external-content-repository-source-control, as the one Ralph shared in 2021 is no longer available.

This is a super helpful guide! I've been looking for a clearer way to manage my RTC artifacts, and your breakdown of the Artifactory integration steps is exactly what I needed. My team, even my old Granny in her programming days, would have appreciated this kind of clear documentation for complex integrations. Thanks for sharing! https://grannyhorror.io

Hi Sunny,

There are mainly two common ways to integrate RTC/EWM with Artifactory:

1. Using Build Automation tools (like Jenkins or UrbanCode) - this is the most popular approach.
2. Using REST API calls for uploading/downloading artifacts directly.

Which build tool are you using? Jenkins, Maven, or something else?

I have some experience with this. Let me know more details so I can suggest the best method.

Regards

Thank for sharing the updated link: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/engineering-lifecycle-management-suite/lifecycle-management/7.2.0. I've tried the previous versions but they didn't work.

The fusion of these tools, a dance of data and dependencies, promises streamlined workflows. A pivotal read for any team wrangling complex software lifecycles. I once wrestled with disparate build systems and package management, a frustrating journey without a unifying repository. It felt like playing Crossy Road blindfolded.
