During adapter registration, can an ETM user ID be linked to the adapter in such a way that that adapter is visible only to that user during test script creation?

Hi Anurag,
The user id requested during adapter registration is for verification of  license allocated to the user. Once adapter is registered to the ETM system, all the users are permitted to create test script and have access to resource list would be able to see adapter list.
If you notice, Adapter Selection Dialog does not even list the user id through which the adapter was created.

Thanks,
Abhishek

 Hi Abhishek,

Does starting multiple adapters by the same user consume more number of licenses or just 1?  And do users use any generic user id to overcome license limitation?

Thanks.

Multiple adapters by the same user does not consume more number of licenses. User with valid User or Functional license may run multiple adapters. ( You could test this out by running multiple adapters in parallel for single user ).

I went through the documentation. Does this mean a user can use a functional user id as well when registering the adapter though the user has an existing normal user id?
