[closed] RQM Importer Tool installed but no showing up in Excel menu options

Have "office 16" which I believe equates to Office 365

Until a few days ago the RQM importer utility was showing up on the menu - a recent update appears to have disabled the "menu" function or "add in" function that it was displayed in

Does anybody know how to get it back ?  We use this all the time to import test cases into RQM

re-"a recent update": what update have you got? Office update or not?
What is your ETM version and what is your ExcelImporter version that worked before?
1) if you go to Excel > File > options > Add-ins, you may check if the add-in is listed in the disabled section. if yes,
try to enable it and see if it bring the addin back to the menu.

2) if that does not work, we need to find out what has changed? and what was previous variant installed?
If your Excel is 64bit, you need to install ETMExcelImporterSetupX64ForDotNET45.msi, otherwise, you need to install
ETMExcelImporterSetupForDotNET45.msi
Basically you would want to install DotNet variant for v7.0.x ETM.

thanks for your response - when we looked at Excel in Office 365 the "menu" was greyed out where it was previously enabled.  Mysteriously it has been re-enabled this morning and the RQM excel importer is back in action. Thanks
