RQM was unable to complete the duplicate: com.ibm.team.repository.common.TeamRepositoryException: Unknown origin

Brian Chen (132) | asked Jul 17 '20, 2:23 p.m.

 Good morning,

I had previously copied a test plan from Project A to Project B, but a different test plan in Project A is not duplicating to Project B. Any ideas? The full error message is below:

RQM was unable to complete the duplicate.
com.ibm.rqm.copy.exception.CopyException: com.ibm.team.repository.common.TeamRepositoryException: Unknown origin

I appreciate your time and help. Thanks.

This might be leading to a defect but we should follow up the official support process for troubleshooting providing accurate steps to reproduce.  In meantime, what are the steps you follow up to recreate this issue?

Hi Fabian, thanks for your response. Test Plan 1 was initially too big to do a duplicate (item array handler error), so we split it into two. Test Plan 1 now only contains about half of the test cases, while Test Plan 2 contained the other half. Test Plan 2 was able to duplicate without any issue, while Test Plan 1 gave us the above error.
