Inherit field values in RQM

New User (15210) | asked Apr 17 '20, 3:02 p.m.

Hello all,

Hope everyone is staying safe

We have two fields Project and Application as required fields in RQM at the Test Plan, Test case, Test script and Test case execution record, is there a way that the values for these fields be inherited.
Meaning if I enter values for fields Project and Application at the Test Plan can these values be inherited to the Test case, Test script and Test case execution record

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Are those fields are category or custom attributes? We show test case categories in the test case execution record table and test case result table. Direct inheritance is not there but we show them in the related table views

Thanks, they (Project and Application) are artifact categories. My requirement is when I enter value for the Project and Application at the Test Plan I need these values to be populated automatically at the test case, test script and TCER level for the specific test plan.
