Using RPE, can I call a JRS report with filter parameters?

With RPE I'm able to consume data from a JRS report. But how can I pass a filter parameter from RPE to the JRS report?

You can use scripted filter in RPE instead of native filter. That is, instead of passing fields/filter parameter while running JRS query, you can perform filtering in RPE. It will be difficult to add additional filter in JRS query.
