 Why can you not use reviews on change sets? This seems like a user interface mistake. So what is the reason why?

 Hi David,


There is an indirect answer to this.  Change Sets are very much to do with Change Management of data.  DOORS Next ius able to support Change Management using associated Change Requests in Work Items.  You can configure your project area to enforce that Change Sets can not be delivered to a stream without an associated approved Change Request (Work Item).  The Work Item can itself have a review prior to it being approved.

There are clearly omissions in this.  First of all the review process of the Work Item is outside of the scope of the Requirements Tool.  We are looking to change this in a future release.

For now though, the direct answer to your question is to associate a review to the Work Item managing the Change.

 Thank you Richard, we are not using Change Requests we only have DNG. So we were looking to see if we were missing something in DNG.

 You might not be using Work Items right now but they come as part of your DOORS Next license.
