How to RPE Web Server to generate DNG based RPE Reports when using JTS Authentication

I have recently started to use the RPE Web Server (v6.0.6) and I have come across a problem.

I have a specific template that runs fine when invoking from Desktop Document Builder and worked ok within my RPE Web Server.

Originally Web Server setup to use Container Authentication.

I switched this to JTS Authentication as it is much more sensible to have users only login once. (Web Server is added as a registered application in Jazz Team Server)

Now that it is JTS Authentication the same Report fails on generation every time when it first tries to access DNG data? (fine accessing RTC data).

What am I missing, or is it a DNG Authentication Issue?

 Hi Ben,

When you switch to the JTS authentication the RPE roles are mapped with JTS roles.

Could you please verify the below
- What is the error message displayed in the log. ?
- Are you able to access the DNG data source via browser ?
- Since it is fine accessing the RTC data, what is the authentication type do you supply when configured with DNG data source. If your CLM use JAS ( Jazz Authorization Server ) / SSO env then you need to provide "basic" authentication type .

Yes it appears to be a DNG authentication issue.

1. Error Message
Error in engine Reponse message: Bad Request Request URL: https://greygloom.outer.stellar.local:9443/rm/publish/text?resourceURI=_fifNQy5eEeauS_JI708Dpw Reponse code: 400

2. Can access that url without any problem in a browser window.

3. My template is set such that each data source configuration 'inherits configuration' from the entry data source configuration. (works without any issues Desktop or with JTS authentication off.)

Can you check Job Details and see if https://greygloom.outer.stellar.local:9443/rm/publish/text?resourceURI=_fifNQy5eEeauS_JI708Dpw is the first DNG URL that is being requested?

Yes it is
