RPE DNG Module types in Data Source Schema Wizard: Generic XML vs REST v2
When I use RPE to create a template and select a new data source using the Add Data Source Schema Wizard, I have been selecting DNG Module for "Predefined" and in the Type drop-down menu I have been selecting Generic XML. I have successfully published against my module by entering the module URI in the the Document Specification (dsx) configuration.
Should I be selecting REST v2 instead of Generic XML? If so, why?
I cannot publish a module view when entering the view URI, module URI, and project URI in the URL (filepath to data source) when configuring Data Sources in the Document Spec (dsx) configuration. Is it because I need to be selecting REST v2 instead of Generic XML?
I am using DNG 6.0.5, no Global Configuration. |
