Hi,

I am trying to complete a cross product setup involving RTC server, ClearQuest, RQM and many more to come :)

All of these machines are located on different sites.

I found that my connection problems are caused by the fact that the resources I need to connect to
are only reachable when I use a proxy server to leave the network on 1 site and connect to the other.
Putting in that proxy server information into a browser lets me connect to a remote server, no problem.
Connections to CQ web for example work in the browser, but not in RQM.

Any tips on how to setup the proxy to make it work for JFS?

Thanks a lot in advance,
Gerd

Could you create a /etc/host override to point the dns name to the IP of your proxy?

Thank you Scott,
I am trying this approach. Hopefully our proxy can make the translation. (I have no influence on the proxy configuration :-)
