Does RTC store the history of custom attributes?

Lewis Zalany (111) | asked Sep 09 '19, 12:01 p.m.

Hi,

I'm trying to retrieve data from RTC/Rational Data Warehouse (v6.0.3) using SQL. For most things I've been able to use the Jazz Reporting Service Report Builder to generate the SQL I need.

My problem is that the report builder does not appear to allow custom attributes to be used to filter the results of historical trend reports, which is what I need to do.

My question is; Does RTC store the history of custom attributes?

And if so, does anyone have example SQL of filtering a historical trend report using a custom attribute?

Thanks in advance

 Lewis,

this seems to indicate that it does (this is from 6.0.6.1).

I would suggest to look into that and experiment with the generated SQL.

Please note that complex item values such as contributors, items and some other types that are not represented by a simple value might not be represented in the data warehouse.
