What is the "order" of the values returned in the search box

In RTC (or for that matter RQM or DoorsNG) if you use the quick search box in the top right corner, the results that are returned are in a very random order e.g. its not organized by most recent, or by work item id etc.

Is there a way to control how it organizes the results ?

Is there any information anywhere that says how that returns the data e.g. its sorting criteria

Hi Karen,

In DNG it sorts by artifact id, in descending order, thus showing the most recently added artifacts first.

I'm gathering therefore that is not the same in RTC as they are extremely random do you know what the sorting is in there too ?

I'm afraid we don't use RTC so hopefully someone else who does can help you with that question!
