How to delete links/backlinks from DNG to an OSLC AM provider from the AM side?

We are building an OSLC AM Provider. So far everything has been done with GC ON. So, between RM and AM there is only one link owned by the AM side and in a combination RM <> AM, RM will OSLC query AM to retrieve relevant links when needed.

My question: In a GC OFF scenario, we a add link (RM>AM) and a backlink (AM>RM). Currently, we use a technical user to delete the RM>AM link when we delete the link on the AM side. Is this the way to do it or is there a more elegant way?

For DOORS Next, you don't need to do anything different for config enabled or disabled with RM/AM links. DOORS Next expects the AM provider to store the links in both cases, and in both cases it uses OSLC query to calculate its incoming links. There is no need to store a backlink in DOORS Next for RM/AM links (as you would with RM/CM links involving EWM - formerly known as RTC).
