Clearcase sync doing catcs -tag vobs
Hello
I am a bit curious on where the beforesync and aftersync lists are picked up. In my case they seems to pick up incorrect files. Ie files that do not need any syncing? Recently I got this warning: WARNING: Could not store build result for Synchronized files and folders before synchronization: Failure while trying to execute /opt/rational/clearcase/bin/cle artool command: /opt/rational/clearcase/bin/cleartool catcs -tag vobs cleartool: Error: View tag "vobs": ClearCase object not found and WARNING: Could not store build result for Synchronized files and folders after s ynchronization: Failure while trying to execute /opt/rational/clearcase/bin/clea rtool command: /opt/rational/clearcase/bin/cleartool catcs -tag vobs cleartool: Error: View tag "vobs": ClearCase object not found What is going wrong? /S |

Please submit a work item for this ... it is looking for a view named
"vobs" (which is a rather strange name for a view :-). Where did you get these messages ... in one of the logs from the sync? Please attach to the work item the logs produced by that sync, in case there is anything interesting in them (like stack traces or other warnings). Cheers, Geoff salbinsson wrote: Hello |
