The "Related Artifact" link allows you to create a link to a workitem in RTC. Is there a practical limit on the length of the URL?
thanks,

FORUM ADMINISTRATOR / FORUM MODERATOR / JAZZ DEVELOPER Yes Steve,
if you happen to tr to paste a really looooooong URI into the related artifacts URI (which is not that hard to do) and then save, it tells you.
So 1000 bytes is it. Stuff needs to be stored in the database.....
In general see https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/index.jsp?re=1&topic=/com.ibm.team.workitem.doc/topics/c_work_item_customization_overview_web.html&scope=null for sizes of attribute types in addition to the information above.
