Hi Sean,

So are you trying to set up an approval at a certain point in the process, and then populate it with a default set of users?

Do you need this to work in both Eclipse and web client, or just one or the other?

I have JavaScript doing exactly that, which runs in the web client. I populate the approval/review/inspection with names from teams, or from people with specific assigned roles within teams

You could create a custom participant/follow up action. https://rsjazz.wordpress.com/2012/11/30/a-create-approval-work-item-save-participant/
