Why, on import of a csv, values of attributes not in the file are cleared

Why on import of a csv, values of attributes not in the file are cleared. We were using roundtripping.

and imported

ID attribute_type Primary text Attrib1 Attrib2

Why did the values in this artifact's Attrib3 get cleared?

We are using:

Win 10

RDNG - 6.0.5 build RDNG6.0.5-120171103_2035

Rational Jazz Team Server build RJF-SERVER-120171103-1833
