Mighration RTC 6.0.3 to RTC 6.0.5 (SCM Repository Workspaces)

Rahi J (29537) | asked Sep 20 '18, 7:14 a.m.

 Hello Team,

Currently we are using RTC v6.0.3 and migrating it to v6.0.5.
The questions related to source control management,
1. How we can migrate the Repository work space without loosing any data/files.
2. We have associated the work items with the change-set, then it is possible that remain same while migrated to 6.0.5 ?
3. If users has created change-set in there repository workspace but did not delivered, is it possible that will also be remain same while migrating to RTC v6.0.5?

Thank you!
Regards,
Deepak

If you are simply 'upgrading' your server from 6.0.3 to 6.0.5, nothing in the repository will actually change.
I.e. For questions 1-3, there is nothing you need to worry about. All the content in the repository workspaces will remain the same, all the change-set & work item links will persist, and all undelivered change sets in those repository workspaces will still be there..
From the user perspective, they might not even know the server was updated.
