Hi, please have a look at https://www.google.de/search?q=copy+work+item+type+site%3Ajazz.net

This has been asked many times before. Unfortunately there is no simple answer. The information is in XML and it is distributed within the file. It is very hard to get all the parts needed. Different process templates also have different ID's. The suggestion is to use the UI to create the type manually. RTC supports process sharing so that you can maintain a central process.
