RQM Can you copy bulk custom categories and their values from one project to another?

Is there a way to copy custom categories and their values from one project to another?

 on the same and different servers? 
we have an issue where our test environment is at CLM 6.0.5 and production at 6.0.4 and our project on test environment has several custom categories with 100s of values each. can this be automated?

Unfortunately, there is no supported way to copy categories between different product versions.  The RQM Copy Utility does not support categories (https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RQMCopyUtility#Compatibility) and backward compatibility for process templates is not supported (see Importing process templates).  I would suggest using the RQM Reportable REST API (https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RqmApi) to copy the categories between different product versions.
