DNG 6.0.6 Mx to DNG 6.0.6 GA migration -- repotools, CSV, or ReqIf

two different clients asked me about this issue this week.
In both cases, the client started using DNG 6.0.6 milestone release (one is M1, the other M4). They want to migrate the data to GA.
In the past, there was no guaranty that repotools would work since the database schema can change between milestone releases. Is this limitation true with 6.0.6?

Assuming it is, and really because I'm curious, is it better to export/import via ReqIF or create a CSV/XLSX? What are the limitations of each?
