Hello,

We are at IBM CLM 6.0.5 and we are looking for a way to monitor usage of floating licenses over time. We are looking for a utility which can show us trend in usage of floating/token based licenses for different applications and basic charting. Is there anything out of the box ?

we want to use this information to decide whether we would need more licenses in future and when

 Hello Vishnu,


You can use the floating license usage report available in JTS server administration page.

To customize and  use reports with more capability you need to install and setup license administration and reporting tool.

Hi John,

I also came across Mbeans for License usage. Is this the direction going forward other than ART ?


LicenseMetricsCollectorTask by changing the value of "Enable License Consumption Metrics MBean" property to "true" in jts/admin in Advanced Properties.
