We are trying to install custom reporting on a windows 2008 server. However installation is failing near the end with the following error messages from the log:

CRIMAF37550BFE

Error occurred in phase: install
SU: com.ibm.rer.reportal.cmstore 1.0.0.200906290903b
IU: com.ibm.rer.reportal.cmstore.db2.win32 null->999.999.999.1430121144

Message: Error executing "C:\RQM\IBM\Rational Insight\cognos\C8SE\C8SE_master.bat" operation (status=255).
See agent output log for more information: C:\ProgramData\IBM\Installation Manager\logs\native\20091007_1011.log


Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Any help appreciated.

Update: Problem solved, working on a windows 64 bit box, the installer does not work if there are brackets in the path and the default path has a bracket in it. e.g. "Program Files (x86)"

Did you post a Defect or Enhancement for this? And what did you do to work around this?
