Hi Sreenath,

Are you planning to upgrade the CLM as well?

The reason is you cannot migrate CLM applications from one server to another server if you are in CLM version 3.0.1.

Server rename is available from version 4.0, please check the below requirements for server rename.

https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.jazz.install.doc%2Ftopics%2Fc_server_rename_overview.html

Steps for migrating from wndows 2003 to windows 2008 below.

1. Upgrade CLM from version 3.0.1 to any 4.x version.

2. Backup all the necessary files.

3. Migrate the application from 2003 server to 2008 server.

4, Perform server rename

SQL 2012 is not supported for 4.0.X version, either you have to plan to upgrade CLM to 5.x version to use SQL 2012.

Satish

AppZero can migrate SQL and almost any application from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 or WIndows 2012/2016.

It can even migrate apps from 32 bit to 64 bit.  Essentially AZ decouples an app/dependencies from the underlying OS and copies those files to the new OS where it will act as if it's been natively installed.

Take a look.
