work item grouping results

Elizabeth Silberg (11) | asked Dec 31 '07, 2:51 p.m.
When I create a new query section, I would like to be able to have one master query with specific result formats. When configuring the new section, I can separate out group by priority, owner, etc (thanks for adding the new grouping options in Beta 2!), but when I click on the groupings to get the query results, it runs the attached master query, but still only gives me the default results format. In my case, this isn't enough information. I've worked around this by not using the grouping option and creating specific queries for each grouping, (e.g., queries for user's prio1, prio2 and prio3 work items rather than user's work items + Jazz's awesome built-in grouping), but I would much rather do the latter. What's the status of this feature? Am I missing a step that needs to be taken or is this a bug?

JAZZ DEVELOPER
Thanks for pointing this out. The 'group by' queries should use the
master query's column configuration. I have created

and added you as a subscriber.
