Can the RTC SCM 5.0.2 run with JRE 1.7?

We are using RTC 5.0.2 and running the SCM CLI with JRE 1.6. We now need to upgrade to 1.7 - the SCM.INI file states '-Dosgi.requiredJavaVersion=1.6' - does this mean SCM will not work with JRE 1.7?

The osgi.requiredJavaVersion setting specifies the minimum required Java version so running with Java 7 should work.
