How to delete RQM trash other from Web UI

Hareesh Jairaj (832238) | asked Aug 01 '17, 4:13 a.m.

 Hi all,

I have couple of doubts related to permanently deleting test artifacts

1. Is there any other way to permanently delete test artifacts in RQM other than deleting from Web UI.

2. If we delete 30 thousand test artifacts to be deleted, will it impact the performance of the application?,if yes suggest the best practice to do the same.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Harish

Hi, Harish

1. RQMURLUtility(https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RQMURLUtility) can do the similar job to delete the artifacts but those deleted artifacts will end up in the trash view. I don't find other way to permanently delete the artifacts in RQM
To me, it is quite controllable way to permanently delete artifacts in trash view than other options if existing

2. If you use v6.x, then you may want to check with this work item and comment on it:

Regarding the configuration management is enabled or not, you will hit the similar issue.
