I am facing same issue while configuring the RRC server. I can start the server, I get the "Server startup in ### ms". But when I enter https://localhost:9443/rdm/setup in my browser, it just hangs. I have tried FireFox and Internet Explorer.

I am running it on Windows XP. I have also taken care of the install directory without spaces its all installed in C:\IBM\...

Please suggest how to resolve this issue..

Sorry I don't know what to suggest, the rdm/setup instruction is correct. Have you tried clearing the caches of your browser? In FireFox 3.6 this is found in - Tools-> Clear Recent History - checkmark the cache and clear the data. Sometimes the cache sometimes contains previous login information.

I assume you have followed the instructions in Step 3 of the following:

https://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rpcmpose/v2r0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.rational.rrc.install_upgrade.doc/topics/t_install_rpc.html

And that you are not running other jazz products like RTC adn RQM on the same machine. If so the port number will need to be changed for RRC server, for example in this smoke test install
