I have a reconfigured RTC instance where the customer is using RTC to track contract releases.  A "release" is based on a number of steps that are gone through before a contract is signed.  "State Changes" in the work flow are used to track the state the contract is currently in.  The customer currently is entering dates this state change occurs through a customized attribute.  Reports are then generated tracking each contract and identifying how long each step on the contract took.  Since state changes are logged in the history, the customer was wondering if there is a way to just use the history data and pull the dates from the history instead of having to go through that step of entering the date and then changing the state.  I believe that you cannot use history data to generate a report, but I am checking with this Forum to see if anyone has accomplished something like this.

Rob,

https://jazz.net/library/article/1540 and https://jazz.net/library/article/1562 show in detail what history trend / aging reporting is possible in JRS using DataWarehouse today. Using advanced SQL in the JRS report and the info from the reference dictionary it should be possible to create such a report.
