CLM 6.0.4 Install: Do I now bundle RS/LQE/DCC on a single machine?

Heather Linsk (1422151) | asked Jul 22 '17, 8:55 a.m.

I am prepping my system to upgrade to 6.0.4 and I noticed that when I went to install the JRS package, that it installs all three applications.

Is this an architecture change?
Can I still distribute these applications as before?

My GUESS is that nothing changed and you can check/uncheck the components that you want.  I'm just leaving this here so I get notified when someone with a better answer comes along :-)

Yeah - I thought that too, but when you go to do the install, there is no option to uncheck anything.

Heather,

I just tried installing JRS 6.0.4 on Windows. The option to check / uncheck LQE, DCC, RS comes at a later time in installation on the tab "components", just one before you choose app server profile and then summary.

The option is definitely still built in as we did silent scripted installs of 6.0.4 that put LQE, DCC and RS on different servers respectively.

If this is helpful please mark the answer as accepted.
