how to save configuration settings of eclipse workspace

Pavitra Chitikela (15112) | asked Jul 02 '17, 10:26 p.m.

Hi,

Is there any way to get the configuration settings of one sandbox and copy to other. I am integrating RTC,GHS compiler, code collaborator etc in eclipse. So every time when am creating a new sandbox I have to set configuration settings separately. If I can copy the settings of my workspace, I will integrate all plugins, ignored resources at once and all my team can use the same configuration file while creating their eclipse workspace.

Regards,

Hi,

I have tried in this way copied
.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.runtime/.settings

directory into desired workspace directory.

Can anyone suggest other method to do using command line option.

For the RTC Extension workshop, I compress and backup the whole repository workspace, incluging any settings stored in the workspace even beyond the .metadata folder.
