Change in Access Management for Security concerns

Sajda Shaikh (113) | asked Dec 13 '16, 12:41 a.m.

Hi all,

We have already created 24 Access Groups. Now we want to change the current structure so that we have 6 new groups (based on client Company) that are being updated with users. And these new groups would be mapped to the current 24 Access Groups.

The reason for this simplified process would be to avoid security issues (client have Access to other client information).
Each user has to be updated to each group based on predefined rules, in some cases it means a user has to be added to all 24 groups instead of in the new suggested model a user only needs to be added to one group and the security issue would be minimalized.

We are using CLM 6.0 instance.

Please suggest if there is any possibility to do so.

Thanks,

Sajda

There is no question in this question. There is even no question mark for a very good reason.

Obviously you can - manually - maintain access groups.
