Logging of project area configuration changes within CLM applications

Bob 3 (1532068) | asked Jun 21 '17, 5:41 p.m.

Does anyone know if there is a facility within CLM to keep a log of changes that are made to a project area's configuration?

For example: User JohnDoe changed the permissions for role Reviewer from being able to modify a work item in RTC to not being able to modify a work item on June 21, 2017 at 4:17pm.

The purpose of this requirement is to have a log of who, when, what configuration changes are made to the project area. Having these records will help with configuration management.

Hi Bob,

The best you'll find on this is in the project area administration -> "History" section.  Changes to process are a bit difficult to determine given the way the process XML is exposed in the change entry versus something that parses out the change and displays it in a more readable format.  I'd suggest having a look at the history and logging an enhancement request for any changes you might find useful.  Hope it helps,
