How to create an attribute that can hold text values like a label name (not in a rectangle box) ?

I am not looking for a text type attribute that contains some (text)data in a "box" . I am looking for a attribute type that can display the text "only" (the way we see the label names) , not inside a box. The idea is to make this attribute read only and make it dependent on another attribute.
Is this possible in RTC ?
