RTC client not launching Beyond Compare

Michael Mefford (132) | asked Apr 20 '17, 10:03 a.m.

How do I launch Beyond Compare from the RTC client?  I've set the External Compare Tool to my BC executable (/usr/lib64/beyondcompare/BCompare), but when I right click on my files and select 'Open in external Compare Tool' nothing happens.

RTC client:  6.0.3
Beyond Compare:  4.1.8
OS:  RHEL6

I just downloaded the RPM and installed.  The command is bcompare which is in /usr/bin

Setting up Eclipse, there is a selection for Beyond Compare and it too fills in bcompare as the command.

Thanks Kevin. I had done this first but I kept getting an error that the 'path point to the 2 way diff executable is not valid.' however, after reading your comment I decided to swap out 'bcompare' for '/usr/bin/bcompare/ and it worked. Thanks again.
