K Kronenwett (813) | asked Mar 10 '17, 11:11 a.m.

We are using RTC 6.0.2 within Eclipse Mars.

"My Work" view is not updated when the Repository Connection is changed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start SharCC Gen93
2.Go to WorkItem Perspective
3. Connect to a repository
4. Go to "My Work" view
5. Delete the current Repository Connection
6. Connect to some other Repository Connection
7. go to "My Work" view

Expected Result:
"My Work" view is updated with the work related to new Repository connection

Observation:
"My Work" view is still populated with the content of previous repository connection

For all I know, you configure your mywork view for one project area and that's it. There is not a dynamic MyWork view that would pick up work automatically from another repository. A lot of people, including myself also work against multiple repositories in parallel (connected to 2 or three repos), so how should mywork decide what to show?

Yes, you are right in case of two parallel repositories.
Workaround: the user can switch the Project Area in the menu manually.

Of course it would be nice to have an automatic switch if there is only one project area.
But this is only nice to have. Thank you.

I agree that it would be nice if you could have more than one of them or if it was easier to switch. This has been requested, but has not been developed.
