Single instance of DWA for multiple DOORS databases?

Heather Linsk (1422251) | asked Feb 23 '17, 2:39 p.m.

I have a windows server with multiple DOORS databases and an instance of DWA running.

I have one of the databases configured with DWA and RTC.

Is it possible (and if so, how) to connect a second DOORS database to that DWA instance and have it connect to the same RTC instance?

Windows 2012R2
DOORS 9.6.1.7
DWA 9.6.1.7

RHEL 6.8
RTC 6.0.3

Hi Heather,

Thanks for your query, please see below my comments.

In relation to DWA, One DWA instance can only server or connect to 1 DOORS Database. So for each DOORS Database instance you will need to have an additional DWA.

You can also have several DWA instances running on the same machine as long as that server has the hardware recommended to support them.

Please see link: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21592875

After you configure all your DWA instances, they can all connect to your RTC instance.

Best Regards!
