I would like to differentiate changeset, is there a way to add some attributes to the changeset and the history of it can be maintained.

It might be easier/possible to answer if you indicate which ELM application you are using.

EWM supports custom attributes for SCM related items. For example see: https://jazz.net/pub/new-noteworthy/ewm/7.0.3/7.0.3/index.html#32 . and https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/engineering-lifecycle-management-suite/workflow-management/7.0.3?topic=control-creating-custom-attributes .

This was introduced to be used in automation. You can access it using the SCM command line. I am not up to date, if you already can change the attribute values in the UI's. There is some search capability that went into 7.0.3.
