How to Create a Project Baseline for Rational DOORs Next Gen version 5.02?

W H (1123) | asked Jan 23 '17, 12:13 p.m.

Hi,

I am currently trying to create a Project Baseline in Rational DOORS Next Generation version 5.0.2

How would I create a Project Baseline in DOORS version 5.0.2 ? What are the roles and permissions I would need ?

Please advise, thank you very much.

JAZZ DEVELOPER

You need permission for the Project Baseline Administrator operation.
By default, the Project Baseline Administrator role has permission for that operation, but the Administrator and Author roles do not.
In the Project Area properties you can add this role to a member.

When you have your project open in the 'browse artifacts' view, then in the sidebar at the right side of the window, there is a baseline section. There you can create a baseline by clicking the Create a Baseline icon.

Thank you for the reply Diana!

Is there a way to do a comparison in [Doors 5.0.2] where I am able to see the new changes made in the current project compared to the baseline ?

Thank you very much
