Can't change the order of columns in plan view (work item state groups)

Indu Gupta (112) | asked Nov 16 '16, 2:24 a.m.
I tried to change the order of the state group columns in the (Kanban) plan views following this guideline:
Setting the order of work item state groups
        https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYMRC_6.0.1/com.ibm.team.workitem.doc/topics/t_wi_state_grps_set_order.html
But this dies not work.

I cannot view the option of Column display where I can modify the view of columns for state.
Please suggest.
Currently the columns are
    Story - New - Development - Closed - Invalid

I would like to have (just as an example)
    Story - New - Development - Invalid - Closed

I am pretty sure https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYMRC_6.0.1/com.ibm.team.workitem.doc/topics/t_wi_state_grps_set_order.html works.

Unfortunately there is no information in this question what would be the problem. "But this dies not work." has no information value. Unless you can come up with some useful information (see How should I ask a question in the Forum if I want to receive useful answers? for some hints), I would not expect answers.

Hi you seem to specify - cannot view the option of Column display where I can modify the view of columns for state.

It is not an "Option" it is the order in which they appear in the XML.

I would read the instructions carefully and then try to move one line in the Process Configure to see if this changes it in the Kanban.

Also you will need to "reload" your browser as it will not show the new configuration without a reload.

Give it a go.
